Cycling UK (a charity also known as the Cyclists’ Touring Club) is offering free e-cycle tryouts and one-month loans to communities in Sheffield. Electric cycles can help people to travel easily, and avoid having to pay for expensive fuel and car repairs. They also bring mental and physical health benefits and contribute to a cleaner environment.

Loans and tryouts are available at a variety of locations, from now until late October 2023. The E-cycle Rental Scheme/E-cycle Loan Scheme is open to proficient and competent cyclists, who must be aged 18 years or over (some e-hubs allow over 16s to participate in events, with documented parental consent). There are conditions attached (such as bringing ID) so check the terms and conditions.
