This is a coalition of students, staff and alumni representing groups and individuals across campuses. They aim to hold the Universities of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam accountable for their role in the Israeli occupation, genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. They demand total divestment from arms manufacturers and other complicit companies.

Their 2024 publication University of Sheffield: Genocide and Apartheid Complicity Report is available online here. It is very much worth reading, detailing the hidden academic partnership with the arms industry.

In addition SCCP provides material and political support for Palestinian students, and activism for Palestinian freedom. They raise awareness and engage with Palestinian solidarity through historical, political and cultural education.
