ACORN is a community-based union of working class people – tenants, workers, and residents. They have defended tenants, winning repairs and compensation and stopping evictions. They’ve also taken on international banks, councils, and the government. Currently, ACORN Sheffield is campaigning for public control of buses in South Yorkshire and providing emergency community support to those impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
