A group of volunteer tenants and supporters are ensuring the survival of one of the great buildings of Sheffield, built in 1877, by community purchase and social ownership. They offer low-cost workshop space to small manufacturing businesses and independent artists and craftspeople, a cross section of talent following in the footsteps of the “Little Mesters” who made Sheffield famous.
