Emmaus Sheffield is a long-established charity which helps unemployed and socially excluded people, close to Sheffield city centre. They run a second-hand shop with a big range, even furniture, and it’s open 7 days a week (10am – 4pm).

They also have a system of accommodation, work and a pay allowance for people recovering from, for example, drug addiction or homelessness. It even allows self-referral.

Volunteer helpers are welcome, and so are donors of money, or used items for re-sale.
