Schools’ Climate Education South Yorkshire (SCESY) is a voluntary group which organises South Yorkshire schools conferences around the central theme of the school curriculum and the climate emergency. They rely on the goodwill of partner organisations and the public, to support students, teachers and schools in climate education.

The SCESY 5th annual conference will take place on 20 March 2025. All schools in South Yorkshire are invited to register an expression of interest for groups of up to 6 primary pupils (Year 4-Year 6) or up to 5 secondary students (Year 7-Year 11) with 2 adults. 

This year’s conference will focus on Green Skills and Careers around the themes of Nature, Biodiversity, Energy and Political Action. It will be a day of interactive workshops and speakers.
