Details On Friday 20th and Friday 27th September 2019, Greta Thunberg and other young environmental activists will lead a climate strike around the world, and they want adults to join in too, on the 20th or 27th, or preferably both. In between is a week of action. Youth Strike 4 Climate are leading on Sheffield Climate Strike event on 20 September. Details for the day are now available and workers along with everyone else are encouraged to take part. Meet from 11am at Devonshire Green. A march will set off to the City Hall at noon for a rally from 1-3pm. Even if you can only attend during a lunch hour, your support will help show the strength of support for action on the climate emergency. Climate chaos has started, and 300 species are going extinct every day (100,000 a year) due to pollution. This is an emergency! Join the pressure for urgent change.
