Details Part of this year’s Festival of Debate in association with Sheffield Save Our NHS. National, regional and local speakers contribute their thoughts, memories, hopes and fears for the NHS, followed by discussion on how to help ensure its survival. The speaker panel, all appearing in personal capacities, will include: Dr Sally Ruane, Leicester Keep Our NHS Public and Director of the Health Policy Research Unit, De Montfort University Dr Stephen Watkins, Medical Practitioners Union (Unite) activist and Director of Public Health for Stockport Professor Mavis Kirkham, Professor Emerita Sheffield Hallam University and co-founder of the Radical Midwives Association.
