"The Stories of Activism in Sheffield"

A project run by the WEA (Workers' Educational Association), "The Stories of Activism in Sheffield" offers a 2-day course in learning to collect and record our history. Includes oral history interview training, support when interviewing activists, and the opportunity to reflect on experiences.Day 1 will be exploring Sheffield's radical 20th century history, with contributions from Stephen Ludlum (University of Sheffield Politics Dept) and various activists. Day 2 will be at a time and venue to be agreed by the group. Applying for a place involves sending a brief outline (under 100 words) about why you would like to be involved and what you could contribute (deadline 2nd May).
