CycleSheffield hosts the CTC/CycleNation Annual Conference

This year its CycleSheffield´s turn to host the CTC/CycleNation annual Conference. The theme is "Cycle Campaigning and Localism – Threats and Opportunities". This is an important event in the cycling calendar that normally attracts about 100 delegates, however it will also be locally focussed.

  • For everyone wishing to promote frequent and safe cycling and also representatives from organisations promoting cycling, eg. CTC, CycleNation, local authorities, politicians, cycle trainers, Sustrans etc.
  • Speakers on relevant National issues and campaigning locally including Matt Brunt, assistant director PTEG support unit and Danny Dorling, Professor of Human Geography
  • Workshops on National issues and local initiatives
  • Stalls/Posters
  • Accompanying events – all delegates welcome
  • Good value Conference Dinner (at Fusion Cafe in town) 7pm, all welcome (needs to be prebooked/paid via the booking form on the Conference link on the website)
  • A range of rides from Fri eve through to Sunday are open to all (but the Tram Assisted ride needs to be prebooked/paid)
