'One Sheffield Many Cultures' festival

UK music artist Mumzy Stranger headlines an open air city centre launch event to showcase the city's cultural diversity. Local bands and dance groups from the different cultures represented in the city will promote unity, celebrate the contribution of people from all communities and backgrounds to the well-being of Sheffield, and Sheffield's proud tradition of opposition to racism, bigotry and prejudice. A holiday weekend event to bring together Sheffielders in a major display of the city's talents in music, dance, food and culture.The movement is non-party political, appealing to people from all walks of life. It has been organised by local people including faith leaders, City of Sanctuary, Hope not Hate, Love Music Hate Racism, Unite Against Fascism and trade unions.
