Community Radio is a great success. Around 150 services are on air, involving over 10,000 volunteers, including our own wonderful
Sheffield Live and Burngreave Community Radio.

Update:
Following the appeal letter, the Government will seek additional funds to support community radio, according to Siôn Simon MP, Minister for Creative Industries. The request is only for a modest amount to cover some core cost.
