Funding in the North East of Sheffield

May 2010

The North East Community Assembly has set up a Community Chest fund to support the work of locally based groups or organisations. There is no minimum amount, maximum £250. The area includes Stubbin, Brushes, Firth Park, Shiregreen, Flower, Wincobank, Lower Blackburn, Brightside, Grimesthorpe, Woodside, Burngreave, Abbeyfield, Firs Hill, Fir Vale, Page Hall, Carwood, Wensley, Parson Cross (except Colley), Southey, Foxhill, Longley, Shirecliffe, Norwood & Bishopsholme. The deadline for this round is Sunday 23 May 2010. Unfortunately late applications cannot be accepted.

Are you organising a local Community Festival or event?

The Community Assembly have a funding pot to support neighbourhood festivals across the area. Groups organising smaller events can request up to £500, bigger festivals expecting to attract 2000 people or more can apply for up to £2000.
