At long last Palestinian Zaytoun Olive Oil returns to Sheffield. It is now more important than ever to show solidarity with Palestinian farmers. They need our support, after a poor harvest which has seen prices rise sharply, the bombing of Gaza, and the military procedures in the West Bank that may see many Palestinians forcibly expelled or imprisoned.
Buying Palestinian produce of any sort is also a way of supporting the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign. In Sheffield there is a very active BDS group; some of their exploits can be seen on YouTube at www.youtube.com/user/sheffieldpsc.
