The IWW is a grassroots, democratic union helping to organise all workers in all workplaces. The IWW is not full of stifling bureaucracy or linked to any political party, nor led by fat-cat salary earners who carry out deals with bosses behind your back. Their aim is to see society re-organised to meet the interests of all people, not just shareholders and corporations.

Maggie's Dead.com
Margaret Thatcher was the 1980s Conservative prime minister who brought destruction to industries and working class communities like South Yorkshire. The deliberately engineered miners' strike smashed the unions. Repressive laws banned many forms of freedoms to party and protest. Public assets were sold cheaply into private hands, and the bankers got massively richer. This is an unapologetic campaign to get Thatcher's death anthem to No.1 on her death, when it happens.

This network is rooted in the belief that all immigration controls are racist and divisive methods of authoritarian control, which should be opposed and ultimately abolished. Although this viewpoint often gets marginalized and drowned out by the 'common sense' and 'realist' approaches of fellow campaigners who seek to reform the systems of controls or to create 'fairer' asylum policies, No Borders values these contributions to migrant struggles, but wishes they would go further. It adds to the fight for decency by providing a space to come together with a 'no one is illegal' perspective, and campaigns to end the imposed state restrictions to freedom of movement.
