South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group meeting

Tue 18 Feb 2020, 7pm, The Sanctuary, Chapel Walk, Sheffield

South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG) meeting, which continues to support communities and individuals. Newcomers are welcome to meetings.

Upcoming activities/involvements include: "Never Again is Now", marking Holocaust Memorial Day in Sheffield, January 27th, and also a discussion about anti-semitism organised by Sheffield University and College Union on January 30th. On Tuesday January 28th The Showroom Cinema is screening the documentary "Midnight Traveller", about an Afghan filmmaker and his family fleeing persecution from the Taliban and travelling as refugees across Europe. Screening includes Skype Q & A conversation with Director Hassan Fazili.
